He was born April 3, 1870 in Titusville, Pa., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Murray. In his early years Mr. Murray taught school and later published the Titusville, Pa., newspaper and a nationally circulated journal concerning the oil industry. He was married August 10, 1937 to Beulah Chadwick of Saranac, who preceded him in death October 13, 1960. Mr. and Mrs. Murray spent their summers in Saranac and winters in Clearwater, Fla. He was the last of seven children. Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Fred C. Walter and Mrs. Clara Chadwick of Saranac; five nieces and three nephews. Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Saranac cemetery.
