Ionia Standard, 17 Aug 1906

Ann Murray (Raby) was born in England in 1843, and came to this country with her
parents, who settled in Orleans township, Ionia county.  She was married to
William J. Murray Sept. 29, 1866.  Three sons were born to them Elon R., William
J., and Charles who with her husband survive.  She also leaves two sisters and
one brother.  She died Aug. 10, 1906, at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 6 days.

She with her husband joined the United Brethren church 21 years ago.  Mrs.
Murray was a faithful worker in the church, and a helper in all the enterprises
for the general good of the people in her neighborhood.  She was a true
Christian in the fullest sense.

The funeral service on Sunday was conducted by Rev. D.H. Shelly, assisted by
Rev. N. Gebhart of Fenwick.  Interment in Belding cemetery.
