Hasting's Reminder - Sat. November 12, 2022

                             Wayne Eugene Musbach

Wayne Eugene Musbach left his earthly body on Saturday Nov. 5, 2022 surrounded 
by his loving family.

Wayne was born in Munith, MI on May 19, 1934 to Iva (Main) and Clifford Musbach. 
He graduated from Stockbridge High School. Wayne was married to the love of his 
life Margaret Ann (Black) on August 14, 1955. they moved from Munith to the 
Woodland area and raised their four children.

Wayne was, at his core, a farmer. But, after retiring from farming, he took on 
many jobs and honed many skills, befriending people all along the way. If you et 
Wayne and had a conversation with him, he always cared about what you had to say 
and chances are, you and he knew someone in common. Family ofter joked about how 
he remembered every person he'd ever met.

Wayne loved bluegrass music, storytelling, fishing, gardening, and cheering on 
his grandkids in their sporting events and performances.He had a passion for 
woodworking and he and his wife Margaret made many treasured handmade gifts that 
they shared.

Wayne was known for his generosity and kind heart.Whether you saw him at church, 
at the school in the Ag department, on a mission trip, or at the real estate 
office, he always had time for a visit.

Wayne is survived by his brother, Donald Musbach and by his children, Donita 
Rice, Douglas (Lois) Musbach, Doreen (Denny) Ackerson, and Duane (Deanna) 
Musbach  He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Iva Musbach, and by his 
loving wife of 65 years, Margaret (Black) Musbach; son-in-law Stanley Rice, and 
granddaughter, Paula Jean Musbach.

Funeral services wee Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022 at Lakewood United Methodist 
Church, 10265 Brown rd., Lake Odessa,MI.
