Lake Odessa Wake-Times-April 18, 1945

Mrs. Belle Musgrove Died Wed. Morning
Mrs. Martha Belle Musgrove, 89, passed away at her home here early Wednesday morning
after an illness of eight years. She was born March 30, 1856, the daughter of David
and Hannah Unger, pioneers of Odessa township. Her entire life was spent in this
community.

Mrs. Musgrove was married to Robert Musgrove about 25 years ago. He preceded her in
death February 23, 1932. She was tenderly card for during her long illness by her
sister Mrs.Blanche Faulkner of Berlin township, who survives. Mrs. Musgrove is also
survived by several step-children. She was the wife of the last Civil war Veteran in this
locality, and was also a charter member of the local chapter, O.E.S.

Funeral services will be held at the al the home at 2 Friday afternoon with the Rev.
E. H. Humphrey of Saranac and the Rev. E. A. Shulls, pastor of the First United Brethren
church in lake Odessa, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
