Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 14 Feb 1942

Mrs. Hattie M. Musselman, 63, died Saturday morning at 3 a.m. at her home in
Easton township following a brief illness.  Taken to Ionia community hospital
Sunday for treatment, she was returned to her home Tuesday of this week still
seriously ill.  Born March 13, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kitson of
Easton township, she had lived most of her life in that vicinity.  She was a
member of the Easton Methodist church and was an active member of the Ladies’
Aid society of the church.  She married Emmet Musselman of Easton and they
continued to make their home in that township.

Surviving are the husband, Emmet, a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Van Geisen, two sons,
Earl and J. Donovan Musselman of Ionia and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from the residence. 
Interment will be at Easton cemetery.
