Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Dec 1938

John R. Musselman, 85, a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Easton and Orleans
townships, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Myron Kennedy of Orleans, Tuesday,
December 13.

He was born April 7, 1853, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Musselman who were
pioneers of Easton township.  November 9, 1871, he was married to Miss Margaret E.
Cole, who preceded him in death January 21, 1925.  Survivors are three daughters,
Mrs. Frank Bradford of Ionia, Mrs. Benjamin Reedes and Mrs. Myron Kennedy of
Orleans; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy at 2:30 Thursday
afternoon with Rev. Frank Loomis of Saranac, officiating.  Interment will be in the
Orleans cemetery.
