She was born in Ontario, Canada, April 23, 1879, the daughter of James and Soloma Holmes. She has lived in this city for 13 years, but for many years her home was in Bushnell township. She was a member of Palo Methodist church, Fenwick Macabees and Bushnell Ladies Aid. Fred Edwards, her second husband, died many years ago and James Musser to whom she was married in 1949, passed away two years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Daisy McWilliams of Route 1, Fenwick; Mrs. Wilma Staines, Fenwick and Mrs. Bernice Hammond, Route 2, Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. P. C. Robertson, Albion; Mrs. P. H. Schuler, Muskegon and one brother, Charles Parks of Houghton Lake and five grandchildren. The body will be at Ellis Funeral home until Friday, when it will be removed to Palo Methodist church where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Myron Clement officiating. Pall bearers will be Clare Wright, Leon Wilson, Harry Edwards, Bert Thomas, Loyal Fancett and Guy Comstock.
