Ionia Sentinel Standard
Mrs. Viola Mutch, 81, 534 Lake Lansing Road, East Lansing, died Tuesday at her 
residence.  She was born April 1, 1892 in Rochester, N.Y.  She was a resident of 
East Lansing the past 15 ½ years and was a member of the First Church of Christ 
Scientist of East Lansing.  

Surviving are a son, James Mutch of Lake Odessa; daughter, Mrs. Melva Baxter of 
East Lansing; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. 
Florence Dumont of Ionia; brother, Owen Smith of Lyons.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 pm at Gorsline-Runciman East chapel, East 
Lansing.  Reader Dale Decker of First Church of Christ Scientist will read the 
Christian Science service.  Graveside services will be Friday at 3 pm at Muir 
cemetery.
