Leaves a Widow and Five Daughters. Hard Working Man. Upright Character. One of Lake Odessa’s most faithful workmen, George Mutschler, passed away at his home last Thursday after a lingering illness of several weeks. Mr. Mutschler was a much respected citizen of this community for many years and a workman of ability doing carpenter work for many of this town and vicinity. He was a quiet man, his greatest interests being his own home and family being greatly devoted to them. Burial was at Lakeside cemetery. Obituary George Mutschler was born July 4, 1857 in Peterzell Wurttemberg, Germany, and died March 27, 1930, aged 72 years , 8 months and 23 days. On March 6, 1880 he was united in marriage to Nancy Shafer. To their union five children were born: Mrs. Dora Clemens of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Lottie Jackson of Grand Rapids, Marian Mutschler of Clarksville, Mrs. Cora Jackson of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Inez Estep of Traverse City. He leaves to mourn their loss his wife, five children, twelve grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and five sisters.
