Samuel A. Mutschler, 25, of Saranac passed away suddenly Saturday, June 8, 
2002.  He was born Sept. 10, 1976, in Grand Rapids, the son of Marion and 
Joanne (Homister) Mutschler.  He was an avid outdoors man.  He graduated from 
Lakewood High School in 1996 and was employed by Sara Lee of Grand Rapids.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Mutschler of Grand Rapids; one daughter, 
Staria at home; one son, Hunter at home; father, Marion Mutschler of Stanton; 
mother, Joanne Mutschler of Saranac; grandmother, Bessie Homister of Saranac; 
brothers, John (Anne) Mutschler of Wayland, Ron (Amanda) Mutschler of Saranac, 
Tom Mutschler of Saranac ad Stephen Mutschler of Saranac; sisters, Rebecca 
(Eric) Patrick of Saranac; Amanda Mutschler of Saranac; and Marsha Mutschler of 
Ionia.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at Lake Funeral Home in 
Saranac.  Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution for Sam’s children.
