                                 OBITUARY

Dorothea Hoohne was born at Flourn, Wurttemberg, Germany, July 1, 1823 and died 
March 17 at 7:30 a..m. at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 16 days.

She was married to Johannes Mutschler April 14, 1815. To this union ten children
were born, three sons and seven daughters; one daughter died in infancy. Her 
husband died January 23, 1874.

She came to the United States in 1881 and lived in Odessa township since then. 

She leaves to mourn her loss nine children, three sons, one son residing in 
Germany and six daughters, also twenty-nine grandchildren and thirty great-
grandchildren.  

She was a kind and loving mother and lived a Christian life.

We sincerely wish to thank the neighbors and friends for their kindness and 
sympathy extended to us during our recent bereavement in the loss of our dear 
mother, Mrs.Dorothea Mutschler.

Thursday occurred the funeral of "Grandma" Mutschler, mother of Geo. and Carrie 
Mutschler and Mrs.Andrew Reahm, the service being held at the house, Rev. 
Klindworth of the Zion Lutheran Church, preaching the sermon.
