Joanne Mutschler, age 63, of Saranac, passed away Dec. 26, 2015.  She was born Feb.
1, 1952 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Bessie (Pospisil) Homister.
 Joanne graduated from Lakewood High School, Class of 1970, and later received her
Bachelor’s degree from Davenport College.  She loved solitaire, Facebook, sudoku,
reading and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, John Mutschler and Kerry Zywicki of Greenville, Ron
(Mandy) Mutschler of Saranac, Tom Mutschler and Tricia Goff of Saranac, Rebecca
(Eric) Patrick of Saranac, Amanda Mutschler and Freddy Mosley of Saranac, Marsha
(Calvin) Cooper of Tennessee and Stephen (Brandy) Mutschler of Saranac; several
grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Karen Thorp of Florida.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Sam and Michael; and two sisters,
Betty Jean and Mary Ann.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at the Lake
Funeral Home in Saranac with Pastor Stanley Hagemeyer officiating.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the choice of the family.
