Ionia Sentinel - 18 January 1955
Mrs. Viola B. Myers of 801 Maple Street died suddenly Monday night at 11:25 at 
the Ionia County Memorial Hospital  where she had been admitted a few hours 
earlier.  She was born May 28, 1886, in Boston Township the daughter of Mr and 
Mrs David Collier and lived in Ionia county all of her life.  In 1904 she was 
married to Adelbert Myers who survives her.  She was a member of the Methodist 
church.

Surviving besides her husband Adelbert are one son, Forrest at home, two 
brothers, Hugh Collier of Scottville and Jay Collier of Laingsburg, two sisters, 
Mrs. Nellie Davis of Ionia and Mrs. Gladys Brown of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Myers funeral 
home with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.

Interemnt will be Tuttle cemetery.
