Horace (Curley) Myers, 77, of 9966 Hastings Road, Clarksville, died Saturday
morning at his residence.  He was born July 29, 1908, in Cadillac, the son of
Hayden and Elva Fellows Myers.  He graduated from Woodland High School and
Married Treva Stahl on Jan. 9, 1937.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and worked at the E.W. Bliss
Manufacturing Company for 20 years, retiring in 1974.  He was a past member of
the South Boston Grange.

Surviving are his wife, Treva; two daughters, Sally Stahl of Middleville, and
Jenny Myers, at home; four grandsons; one brother-in-law, Clare Stahl of
Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.  One sister, Gretta and three
brothers, Orley, Hudson and Don, preceeded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., at the Clarksville Bible
Church, with the Rev. Leslie Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Clarksville
Cemetery.  Friends may meet the family on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Clarksville.
