Myers, 48, of North Plains township who suffered a heart attack in Pewamo Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. died in the Ionia County Memorial Hospital at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband, Clare, and one son, Dean, who lives at home. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Charles Ludwick, of North Plains, and one sister, Mrs. Grace Hartman, of Gladwin. Mrs. Myers was born in north Plains township on April 21, 1904, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ludwick. She attended the Schaeffer school in that township. She graduated form Carson City high school in 1921 as the valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the United Brethren church of Matherton, played the organ for church services, and was a Sunday school teacher. She was married on November 22, 1923 to Clare Myers in the United Brethren parsonage at Carson city. They resided in Blanchard for 1½ years, but since that time have lived on their farm in North Plains township. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the North Plains church. Burial will be in North Plains cemetery. The Rev. William Bryde of North Star will officiate. The body will repose at the home of Mrs. Myers’ mother, Mrs. Charles Ludwick, until the time of the services.
