He had been in poor health for some time, the end coming peacefully and without pain. The funeral services were held form his late home, 109 Michigan Avenue, Monday afternoon, Rev. Poch of the First Lutheran church, of which the deceased was a member, officiating. For a number of years Mr. Myers was a faithful employee of the Bissell Sweeper Company of that city and an esteemed member of the Bissell Mutual Benefit Association. Fellow members of the order acted as honorary pall bearers and contributed many beautiful floral offerings to the memory of their late co- worker. The deceased was born in Chelsea, Germany, October 4, 1849, coming to this country when a young man. He leaves a widow and many true friends to mourn his demise. Mr. and Mr. W. H. Patrick and children from Pewamo were in attendance at the funeral.
