October 23, 2010 Rhonda Sue Myers Rhonda Sue Myers, 57, of Belding passed away Thursday evening Oct.21, 2010 at Spectrum Health's Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Rhonda was born on June 8, 1953 in Lansing, the daughter of Daryl A.and Shirley Ann French Walter.In earlier years Rhonda worked at the Ionia Sentinel-Standard and later drove the Dial a Ride bus in Belding for 17 years. Rhonda was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God, Victory Tabernacle, Dowagiac, Mich. She enjoyed crocheting slippers, blankets, hats and mittens which she gave to are underprivileged children. She was married in Belding on Aug.27, 1971 to Jerry Myers. She is survived by her husband; her step-children; Brenda Myers and Brad Reeves,Janet and Fred Clark all of Belding, Dave and Luann Newlove of Sand Lake, Leslie and Wade Donovan of Belding; 11 step-grandchildren; one step-great- grandchild, her brother and sisters, Lynda Harp of Fenwick, Steve and Deb Walter of Ionia, Diane and John Martinac of Stanton,Kelly Conner and Jim Barnes of Alabama; and her best friend Clara Butler and her children, Sherry,Scott, Lori and Terri. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bill Russell; a step-daughter, Debbie Crater; and one great-nephew, Andrew Russell. Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Roger May of Grace Bible Chapel officiating. Committal prayers will follow in Olde Belding Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Victory Tabernacle.
