       Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

               Gerald Lee Myers

Died Saturday December 22, 2012-age 77 Lansing Hospital.
Born September 30, 1935, in Carson City, son of Donald & Mabel (Henry) Myers.
He graduated from Carson City High School in 1954.
Married Yvonne Whitman on Sept 18, 1954.
Worked as a maintenance supervisor for Carson City Hospital.
Retired in 1993 after 40 years of service.
He continued work at Carson City Health as a volunteer courier.
Gerald enjoyed woodworking, macrame, camping, playing cards, traveling, steam 
engines, antique cars & watching westerns.
Survived by his wife, Yvonne of 58 years; five children, Debra (John)Dennis of 
Carson City, Diane Myers of Carson City, Linda (Clark) Duerr of Carson City, 
Karen (Verl) Buskirk of Stanton & James (Wanda) Myers of Fenwick; 12 
grandchildren & five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents & a grandson, Aaron Getts.
Private family services for Gerald will be held.
Interment at Bloomer Township Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the care of Lux & Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City,
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carson health Foundation.
