Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Mar 1966

Mrs. Elva S. Myers, 90, former resident of Clarksville, died Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.,
at a nursing home in Kalamazoo where she had been a patient the past three years. 
She was born near Blanchard, February 29, 1876, the daughter of George and Susan
McClelland Fellows, and was married to Hayden Myers in 1894.  Mr. Myers died in
1941.

Mrs. Myers lived in Saranac until 1950 when she moved to Clarksville and attended
Clarksville Bible church until she became disabled.

Surviving are one son, Horace Myers of Clarksville and a daughter, Mrs. Greta
Barrons of Kalamazoo; 15 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 22
great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Milton Fellows of Muskegon, and Otis of
Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. George Royce of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Bertha Martson of
Blanchard.

The Rev. Donald Mathis will conduct services Friday at 2 p.m. at Pickens funeral
chapel in Clarksville.  Interment will be at Clarksville cemetery.
