Portland Review & Observer-Aug. 22, 1963

Services Held On Monday For Edward Nahrgang
Edward L. Nahrgang, 69, died at the Veterans Facility in  Grand Rapids on Friday,
and funeral services were held Monday morning at St.Patrick's Church, the Rev. Julius
Amman officiating.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Rose Pohl of Portland. He was a member of the American
Legion, was a World War I veteran, and the Dale E. Hyland American Legion Post conducted
military rites.

Burial was in Portland cemetery. Pallbearers were Burton, James, Jeffrey, Jerrold
and William Brown and Brandt Lazarus. The Rosary was recited at Neller Funeral Home
Sunday evening.
