Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 Dec 1988

Vickie Lynn Napier, 36, of East Washington, Ionia, died at her residence early 
Thursday.  Born April 18, 1952, she was the daughter of Ivan and Dorothy Dolley 
Stanton.  She was graduated from Ionia High School in the class of 1971, and 
had been employed at Scale House restaurant and Ionia Manor.

She was a member of Lyons-Muir VFW Post 4646 Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Jonathon Napier of Ioia; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan 
Stanton of Ionia; two brothers, Merlin Stanton of Ionia and Edmund Stanton of 
Vestaburg; and a sister, Mary Leiter of Orleans, and her maternal grandmother, 
Gertrude Dolley of Ionia.  A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, 
with the Rev. James Sayers of Belding Community Baptist Church officiating.  
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  A memorial for Ionia Area Hospice 
has  been established, in care of the funeral home.
