He had been in poor health for three years. He was born January 17, 1892, in Orange township on his present farm where he lived his entire life. He was married October 2, 1912, to Nellie Gierman of Sebewa. He attended LeValley Methodist church. Surviving him are the wife; five sons, Howard and Raymond of Orange, Forrest and Carl, at home, and Gordon of East Lansing; one daughter, Greta, at home; a brother, Burton, of St. Croix Falls, Wis.; and one sister, Mrs. George Budd of Berlin. A daughter, Vivian, died in February, 1934. Funeral service will be held from the LeValley Methodist church Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Willis E. Hunting officiating. Interment will be in Balcom cemetery.
