Linda Kay Nash, 63, of Saranac, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great 
grandmother, passed away May 9, 2011. She was born Oct. 20, 1947 in Battle 
Creek, the daughter of Hugh and Lois (Barnes) Tharp.

She is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Nash of Saranac; children, Arthur 
(Carey) Nash Jr., of Lansing, Carrie (Jonas) Bednarek of Verona, Wis., Dawn 
Nash (Joseph Glossop) lf Lansing, and Mike (Madeline) Nash of Lansing; 10 
grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; and sister Brenda Tharp of 
Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Larry and Hugh Jr., and 
one grandchild Chester.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony’s Church with 
Father Victor Kynam celebrant. The family will receive friends and relatives 
Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. There 
will be a Rosary 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
