June 29, 1967 Funeral services were held Monday for Raymond E. Nash, 74, of 810 West State Street. Mr. Nash died June 23 at Belding Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born August 22, 1892, in Chicago. September 16, 1924 he married Fiana Lambert. A Belding resident for 15 years, Mr. Nash was a retired cabinetmaker. He was a member of Hugo Fales Post No. 203 of the American Legion and a member of the V.F.W. Surviving are his wife, Fiana; one son, Edward of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren; and nieces. Reverent Wilford D. Wood officiated at the funeral services, which were at Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home. Interment was in Rest Haven Memory Garden. Pallbearers were legionnaires. Military services were conducted by Hugo Fales Post No 203 of the American Legion.
