He was born May 29, 1942, in Ionia, the son of Harold and Margaret (Snell) Nave. He married Shirley Smith September 28, 1968. He worked for Brown Corp. for 30 years and ran M-66 Bait Shop. He was an antique tractor puller and avid hunter and fisher. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Nave of Orleans Township; sons, Stanley and Lalonnie Nave of Lyons, Mark Nave and special friend Nancy Thayer of Orleans; daughter, Candy and Paul Wilson of Saranac; stepdaughter, Debbie and Glen Coe of Berby Lake; half brother, Ronald and Darla Harper of Orleans; father-in-law, Milton Smith and special friend Jane of Orleans; brother and sister-in-law, Leslie and Jean Smith; grandchildren Jr. and Stephanie Nave, Paul Wilson Jr., Chad Albert, Brad Albert, Travis Albert, Heidi and Mike Crater, Amy Coe, Kristy Coe; his beloved dog, Peanut Head. He was preceded in death by his father Harold. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
