The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 9, 1907

Hazel Nead, in her 16th year, and a pupil in the 6th grade of the Grammar 
school, died of peritonitis at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Hydorn, 325 
State street, at two o’clock this afternoon, after an illness of only one week.

Subsequent Publication:  Friday, March 22, 1907

We hereby desire to express our thanks for the kindly ministration of friends, 
neighbors, and the Sunday School Class of which Hazel was a member, in our 
recent bereavement.
