Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. January 27, 1905

John A. Nead, an old resident of Saranac, died at the home of his daughter in 
Saranac, Jan. 21st, 1903, aged 63 years,  6 months and 24 days. The funeral was 
held from the Woodbury U.B. church on Tuesday, and the remains interred in 
Lakeside. Rev. Isaac Mourer of this village conducted the services. Mr Nead was 
born in Eaton county, June 28, 1942. He was married to Lucy A. Palmer in 18__ and 
to them was born _ children. The mother and one son have preceded him to the 
spirit world. Deceased was well and favorably known. In his last hours he _____ 
off his firm hope in his Maker.
