Elmer Lloyd Neely, aged 72, of Saranac passed away July 11, 2007.  He was born 
March 19, 1935, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of William Gorbel and Mary 
Elizabeth (Smith) Neely. He lived in Saranac for the past 13 years and was a 
member of the Saranac Community Church.

He is survived by sons; Martin and Chris Neely of Coopersville, and Brian and 
Melody Neely of Ohio; daughters Brenda and Randy Phillips of Munising and 
Melinda Neely of Wyoming; half brother Ronald and Margaret Topolski of Lowell 
as well as many grandchildren; special friend Marge of Saranac and loving care 
givers Denise and family of Ionia. He is preceded in death by 1 brother James 
and 1 sister Delores.

Graveside services will be held at Saranac Cemetery , Monday July 16 at 3 p.m. 
with Rev. John Madvig officiating. Funeral arrangement by Lake Funeral Home of 
Saranac.
