County News Pg. 3 Sec. 2 - Thursday, March 15, 1934

Elizabeth Sybelle, age 65, daughter of John T. and Sarah Jane Musson, was born 
January 13, 1868 and departed this life March 10, 1934, aged 65 years one month 
and 27 days. On August 11, 1888, she was united in marriage to S. G. Neil. To 
this union were born six children, five daughters and one son, all of whom 
survive, with her husband. Besides she leaves fifteen grand children, two great 
grandchildren, six brothers, a sister and a host of relatives and friends.

In her early girlhood she gave her heart to the Lord and her hand to the church 
and became a member of the Wesleyan Methodist church. After she was married she 
became a member of the United Brethren church, which membership she held at the 
time of her death.

She was a pastor's wife for about twelve years and as such she bore her cross 
with a will, never complaining because of the deprivations incidental to such a 
life. 

She was a great lover of music and had a wonderful voice. She was never happier 
than when singing the songs of Zion. It was her delight to gather a group of 
people together and teach them to sing. The songs of praise were good for her 
soul and to tell the wonderful story in song was to her the Bread of Life.

The funeral service were conducted by her nephew the Reverend Cecil Fogle, of 
Oberlin College at the South Boston Congregational church, Tuesday, March 13, 
at 1:30 o'clock. Interment was made in South Boston cemetery.
