The Lowell Ledger, Thursday, June 18, 1953


Funeral services were held at Clarksville Friday afternoon for Charles Neil, 
58, who passed away from a severe attack Tuesday at Lowell Rest Home where he 
was being cared for.  Burial was in South Boston cemetery.

Mr. Neil was a veteran of both World War I and II and was awaiting admittance 
to a veteran’s hospital at the time of his death.  His home was Clarksville.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Floyd Young of Detroit; Mrs. Margaret Seeleg 
of Clarksville; and another sister in Texas who was unable to come here at the 
time of his death.
