HANS NEILSEN
Hans Neilsen, 75, of 1212 Yeomans street, Ionia, died at his home Saturday at 8 
a.m. after being ill since March 13 of this years.

Born in Denmark April 18, 1882, he was the son of Hans and Marie Neilsen and 
came to Ionia in 1906 from Denmark and had lived in and around Ionia since that 
time.

He was married December 29, 1909 to Ida Rowley in Ionia and was a member of 
I.O.O.F. #175. He was a foundry worker in Ionia and Belding and retired 10 years 
ago.

Surviving are his wife, Ida; one son, Maurice Neilsen of Sheridan; two 
brothers,Karl and Adolph of Denmark and three sisters, Thora and Hulda of 
Denmark and Mrs. George (Christine) Anderson of Ionia; three grandchildren, one 
great-grandchild and five step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Boynton Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
by Rev. A.R. Kuehn of Lake Odessa, pastor of Evangelical United Brethren Church 
and former pastor of Zion E.U.B. Church in ionia. Burial will be in Easton 
Cemetery.
