The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 27, 1961

Cindy Lee Nelson, 7, died Monday forenoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Harold Nelson of route three.  She had been ill since Wednesday evening.  
Richard Dodes, justice of the peace, acted in capacity of the coroner.  

Cindy was born January 5, 1954 in Ionia and attended first grade in Haynor 
school.  She also attended Sunday school at the Zion Evangelical United 
Brethren church in Ionia.

She is survived by her parents; a brother, Ricky and a sister, Kim, at home, 
and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Miller of route three, and Mr. and 
Mrs. Charles Ogden of Ionia.

Service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with 
interment at Easton cemetery.
