Ionia Sentinel - 27 February 1928
The funeral services for Albert Nelson, of Butternut, who died at 8:30 Sunday 
morning were held from the home Monday afternoon at 2:30 and Tuesday morning the 
body will be taken to Kendleville, Ind., his birthplace for burial.  Mr. Nelson 
was past 60 years of age and succumbed after a brief illness of pneumonia.  He 
came to the vicinity of Palo when a little lad and lived either in Palo or Ronald 
until  a few months ago, when he went to Butternut.  He was a member of the Palo 
Baptist church.

His only near relative in this vicinity was Mrs. Ralph Cheney, who with Mr. Cheney 
went to Butternut Monday to attend the funeral services.
