The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 21, 1987
Frank G. Nelson, 75, of 558 Grant Street, Ionia, died Thursday at the Orchard 
Hills Hospital in Belding.  He was born October 3, 1911 in Millbrook, the son 
of George W. and Mary A. Anderson Nelson, and attended Ionia Public Schools.  
He married Elsie Hatfield on September 16, 1947 in Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, Elsie; two sons, Francis Nelson of Ionia and James 
Nelson of Saranac; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Rich Street Chapel of 
the Montgomery Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Green Cemetery, the Rev. 
Marvis Hale officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home on Saturday 
and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
