          JANICE MARIE NELSON

Died March 3, 2023-age 76 of Ionia.
Born November 7, 1946 in Lansing.
Daughter of James & Virginia (Phillips) Swayze.
Married Jim Nelson & he preceded her in death on November 17, 2021.
Janice enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling & bowling.
She loved spending time with family & her dog,Demon.
A member of the Ionia Moose Lodge.
Surviving are her children, Todd,(Candy) Swayze of Olivet, Christine (Jack) 
Furgala of Eaton Rapids & Andrew (Mary) Wilson of California; grandchildren, 
Alexis Swayze, Tiffany Swayze, Jolene (John) Cary, Jack Furgala and Stephanie 
Furgala; 4 great-grandchildren, brother,Keith (Yvonne) Swayze of California and 
sister Jamie McCormick of Lansing.
Preceded in death by her parent.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Ionia Moose Lodge on Saturday March 25, 
from 1-4 PM.
