Hasting's Reminder - Saturday April 27, 2024

DALTON E. NELSON

Dalton E. Nelson, age 16, of Woodland,MI passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
 
Dalton was born on May 2, 2007 in Grand Rapids,MI to Jeff & Tracy (Everett) 
Nelson.Dalton attended Lakewood High School and worked at Walmart in Ionia.
The family will always remember his light hearted nature and good natured 
teasing.

Dalton loved anything with an engine, starting with his first Gator at age 3. He 
also loved to hunt, fishing and camping Lakeside Camp Grounds. Trips to 
Ludington were always a joy, on one trip the Coast Guard gave him a tour as a 
child, giving him dreams off one day serving with them.

He will be forever missed by his parents, Jeff and Tracy; sister, Sara Nelson; 
grandparents, Mark(Lynn) Everett; great grandma, Nuala Williams, along with many 
aunts, undles,cousins and many friends.

Dalton was preceded in death by his grandparents Mema Rocky & Papa Dan Nelson, 
Bampa Larry Williams along with uncle, Cody Everett.

Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 5 
until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at  St.Edwards Catholic Church 
Tuesday ,April 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. with burial taking place in Woodland Memorial 
Park immediately following.

Donations to help with final expenses would be appreciated. Checks can be made 
out to Koops Funeral Chapel or Dalton's parents Jeff  or Tracy and are 
appreciated towards the final expenses.
