RONALD E. NELSON

Died March 24, 2026-age 84 at Portland,MI
Born December 1, 1941 in Muskegon,MI, son of Ross & Alta Nelson.
Moved to Bailey, MI on a farm.
Attended Grand Public Schools, graduated in 1960, active in FFA.
Staff Sargent in Michigan Army National Guard-3rd Battalion, 126th Inf. in Grand 
Rapids 1963-1970.
In 1970 earned degree in Agriculture Distribution at Western Michigan 
University.
Married Betty (Eady) in 1964, having 61 years of marriage.
Survived by son Roger, Daughter Karen (Tory) Meyers, grandkids, Blake & Trent.
Member of First Congregational Church of Portland,MI.
