Ionia Sentinel

Funeral services for John J. Nemetz, 80, of 204 Mill Street who died at St. 
Mary’s Hospital, Grand Rapids, Tuesday were held from Myers funeral home 
Saturday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. Howard Johnson officiated.  Interment was in the 
family lot in Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were Earl Hausserman, Edward Smejkal, 
John Smejkal, Donald Hyler, Elmer Miller and Donald Lafler.

Those attending the services from out of town were Mrs. Frank Hunt of Boyne 
City; Mr. and Mrs. Wolfred Sterzik of Petoskey; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hyler and 
Mrs. E. Hyler of St. Johns; and Mr. and Mrs. A. Lower of Palo.
