John J. Nemetz, of 204 Mill St., died in St. Mary’s Hospital, Grand Rapids, at 
4:00 o’clock Wednesday morning, Nov. 8.  He was 80 years old.  Mr. Nemetz was 
born in Germany and was 11 years old when he came to the United States.  A 
retired farmer, most of his life was lived in Ionia County. 

Surviving are his widow, Caroline; nine sons and six daughters, seven 
grandchildren, and  a brother, Paul Nemetz, of Detroit.

Rev. Howard Johnson of the Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church will officiate at the 
funeral service from Myers Funeral Home at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon.  
Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.  The body will remain at the home at 204 
Mill St. through Friday.
