Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 & 6 Apr 1973

Glen A. Neuenschwander, 40, of 5191 Bluewater highway, died Saturday in Ford
hospital in Detroit.  Born February 23, 1933, in Craigville, Ind. he was a son
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Neuenschwander and married Alice V. Kenney in Grand
Rapids, September 28, 1957.  For the past 13 years the couple had made their
home in Saranac, and previously made their home in Ionia.  He had been employed
by Fisher Body in Lansing for the past four years.   He was a member of
Saranac’s American Legion post having served in the Korean conflict.

Surviving besides his wife are his mother, Mrs. Elva Neuenschwander of Rapid
City; two sons, Richard, with the United States Army in Germany, and David at
home; two daughters, Glenda Kay at home and Connie Sue.

The body is at Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac where services will be at
2 p.m. April 4, Rev. George Chaffee of Easton United Methodist church
officiating.  Friends and relative may call at the funeral home between 7 p.m.
and 9 p.m. April 3.  Burial will be in Easton township cemetery.

Rev. George Chaffee of Easton United Methodist church officiated at funeral
services Wednesday for Glen A. Neuenschwander, who died Saturday.  Interment was
at Easton cemetery.  Bearers were Bob Hyatt, Walter Kerr, Charles Hall, Clarence
Brower, Larry Starks and Dick Shong.  Honorary bearers were James Morrison,
Darrel Amidon and Chuck Schneider.  Following graveside services a lunch was
served to the family at the Easton United Methodist church.
