Hasting's Reminder - Sat. September 7, 2024

Janet "Jan" Neustifter, age 79, of Woodland, MI passed away on Friday, Aug. 23, 
2024. Born to Carl and Arlene (Marshall) Hefflebower on February 17, 1945 in 
Hastings, MI.

She was a 1963 graduate of Lakewood High School. On April 2, 1966 she married 
Jim Neustifter whom preceded her in death on October 4, 2011.

In retirement she loved riding with Jim on his motorcycle and spending the 
winters in Florida. Jan was an excellent cook and the family seem-stress who 
enjoyed making quilts for everyone. She loved spending time with her family, 
friends and her cats.

Jan will be forever missed by her children, Scot (age) Neustifter, Tracy 
(Matthew) Timm; grandchildren, Madison (Kevin) Hoskin, Maison Neustifter, Cody 
(Andi) Timm and Melia (Terrick)Smith; great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Frankie and 
Quinn; sister, Barb (Jim) Wickham; brother-in-law, Jan (Mary Fran) Neustifter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hefflebower; parents; Carl and 
Arlene Hefflebower; parents-in-law, John and Gertrude Neustifter, along with 
many fur babies over the years.

Funeral services were held Thursday Aug. 29, 2024 at Koops Funeral Chapel with 
burial taking place in Woodland Memorial Park next to Jim immediately following.

In lieu of flowers donations to First Congregational Church of Lake Odessa or 
Woodland Fire Department would be appreciated.
