Nevins, 61, of 676 West Main was found dead at her home late Monday morning. Richard Hull of Muir, deputy medical examiner, ruled death was due to a heart attack. Born in Ionia September 2, 1913, she was the daughter of Vern and Etta Smith Roberts and attended the Ionia schools. She was employed by the cannery in Lake Odessa and also worked for several years at the Vosper home in Ionia. September 26, 1941, she was married to Archie Nevins at Lyons and they made their home in Ionia. He died August 17, 1959. She had attended the Temple Baptist church. Among her survivors are a son, Lloyd Nevins of Ionia; two stepsons, Kenneth Nevins of Sunfield and Raymond Schooley of Wyoming; five grandchildren; and a brother, Elga Roberts of Ionia. The body will be at the Leddick funeral home until Wednesday at 2 p.m. when it will be taken to the Temple Baptist church for funeral services at 3 p.m. Rev. Ralph Barton will officiate and interment will be at Easton cemetery.
