Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 2 Jul 1949

Adelbert Newhouse, 81, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Bertha Newton, of Muir
Saturday morning.  He was born in Ionia county and lived much of his life in Muir
although he did live for some time in Battle Creek.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Newton.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Muir Church of Christ, with
Dr. Paul Stewart officiating.  The Lyons F & AM lodge will assist with the services.
 Interment will be in Muir cemetery.
