Ionia Daily Standard, 14 Mar 1902

The funeral of Mrs. Millie Newhouse took place at Muir this Friday afternoon, 
from the home at 1:30 o’clock, and the Church of Christ at 2 o’clock, Rev. A. 
B. Griffith officiating at the church.  At the home the service was in charge 
of Maple Lodge Royal Neighbors, No. 2077, with Mrs. Col. J. H. Mitchell, of 
Ionia, as mistress of ceremonies.  The lodge also conducted the services at the 
cemetery.  The pall bearers were members of Muir Camp, Modern Woodmen.
