Deputy Dow Newman Suffers hemorrhage at Ionia Sunday

Mr. Newman died Wednesday.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 at 
Stone Funeral Home, Ionia.

Dow Newman, a full time deputy sheriff in the office of Sheriff Richard Dodes, 
was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage Sunday night at his home.  Newman was 
a deputy at Pewamo for several years but has been on the jail staff for the 
past four years.
