Aged Woman Buried Monday

Mrs. Martha Newman, 85, die at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. 
and Mrs. Alva Cox in Woodbury last Thursday.

The deceased was the widow of the late Charles Newman and had lived on a farm 
south of Lake Odessa on the Woodland road for many years.

Surviving besides the sister are two brothers, Wm. and Harvey Hill and several 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Pickens chapel Monday afternoon, the Rev. V.H. 
Beardsley officiating. Burial was in Woodland cemetery.
