She was born in Ionia, June 11, 1956, the daughter of Gaylord and Artis Rusnell Coe. She attended Jefferson elementary school and graduated from Ionia high school in 1974. In school she was active in the band and was a majorette. She was a member of the 4-H horse club and a former homecoming queen. She worked as a department manager for a department store in Ionia until July of 1976. She married Philip Neumann of Stanton January 16, 1976 in Tampa, Florida. They had made their home in Stanton. She is survived by her husband; her parents; four brothers, Gary and James of Ionia and Edward and David at home. Also surviving are her paternal grandfather, Glenn Coe of Ionia;; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Harriet Rusnell of Ionia and her maternal great grandmother, Mrs Edith Melvin of Fowler. Services are Wednesday at 1 pm at the First Christian church in Ionia with Rev. Roger Gifford officiating. Burial is in Balcom cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Leddick funeral home in Ionia Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 ppm. A memorial fund has been established for the Sunday school department of First Christian church.
