Rev. J. M. Bancroft, of the Methodist church, officiated. Burial was made in the Fuller cemetery near Hastings. Mrs. Newton was born at Freeport, Mich., 36 years ago, and had lived in that vicinity until three years ago when she came to live with her brother. She has been an invalid for a number of years, but was very patient in all her suffering. She was a member of the Middleville Methodist church. Beside her little son Howard, who is eight years old, she is survived by three brothers, Dorr Kenyon, at whose home she died, Fred Kenyon, of Kalamazoo, and Ernest Kenyon of Woodland.
