The Ionia Daily Standard, Monday, January 4, 1897

Elvira Nichols, wife of S. S. Nichols, Eaton, died on Saturday.  Deceased was 
a sister to Mrs. C. H. Chambers, of this city.  Her age was 51.  The funeral 
will be held tomorrow at 10 o’clock, at the house; 11 at the church.
