The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 21, 1964

Mrs. May Nichols, 86, resident of Belding the past 40 years, died Tuesday 
morning at Belding community hospital.  She previously lived in Easton 
township several years.

She was the widow of Hugh Nichols who died in 1917.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Harwood of route four, Ionia, three 
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in 
Belding.  The Rev. Thomas Rebentisch of First Congregation church will 
officiate and interment will be at Easton cemetery.
